Invisalign

Scheduling an Appointment

During your first visit to our office in Albuquerque, New Mexico, our dentist will conduct a thorough dental exam in order to review the status of your current oral health and resolve any possible dental problems prior to the treatment. Once an examination has been conducted, our dentist will take impressions of your teeth, which will be used to make your Invisalign aligners. These aligners are then given to you along with instructions on how to use and take care of them in an efficient manner.

Transparency

Invisalign's transparency is the main reason that many of our patients choose to use it. The aligners are made of medical grade plastic components, allowing Invisalign to be discreet. Although they are transparent, they will still be slightly noticeable when someone is in close proximity to your face.

Removability

Invisalign aligners are the only alternative to traditional braces that can be removed at your convenience. Although our dentist will recommend wearing them as much as possible throughout your treatment, it is nice to have the option to remove them for a special event or when you eat or drink.

Treatment Time

The duration of Invisalign depends on the severity of your case. However, the average time for this treatment is around 12 to 15 months.

Maintenance

Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign aligners are easy to clean. Our dentist will suggest cleaning them every time you remove them and before you reinsert them. To clean them, you can simply run them under warm water.

BPA-Free

Another reason that patients have begun to choose Invisalign is that it’s made up of BPA-free plastic, and it does not have any plasticizers or other dangerous toxins that can be released into your mouth.

Post-Invisalign Retainers

Once you have completed your Invisalign treatment, our dentist will suggest wearing a retainer to prevent your teeth from shifting into their original, uncorrected position.

Invisalign aligners are a great alternative that can provide you with the smile you have always wanted.
